Starting a company is the hardest thing I've ever done, possibly even harder than being a mother. Although being a mom is very similar to being a CEO. You have to see the end goal, you have to empathize at all times, you have to deal with tantrums and difficult situations and you have to wake up every day, put one foot in front of the other and move forward through whatever life throws at you. The highs are as high as ever and the lows hit you like you have never been hit before.

My journey to build the very best screen time experience has not been easy, shutting down our live shows was brutal. We had created an amazing product that so many people loved and it was hard to make the choice to go in a different direction. I strive for greatness and learn a little more each day and I believe, because of this,  we are closer to the solution that really addresses the problems around preschool age kids and screen time.

As a women starting a company is even harder, venture capital has surged over the past few years, but companies solely founded by women garnered 2% of the total capital invested.
